If you’d like to work on big accounts and learn all about the advertising and public relations business this winter, this is your big chance.
Here’s some more info the big bosses want included:
- The internship starts on or around June 1 and lasts about 12 weeks.
- Interns should be marketing/design/communications-related majors in their junior or senior year at college. But, if you're a philosophy major with a burning desire to work in this business, you should apply too.
- Interns work about 40 hours per week, and yes, our interns get paid.
- Interns are assigned to a department and supervisor based on his or her career desire and talent, e.g., copywriting, art direction, account management, public relations, studio/design, media services, research and interactive.
- During the program, interns are exposed to the agency’s processes and practices and may work on a variety of special projects and accounts.
Send your resume and cover letter indicating your desired area of interest in the marketing communications field plus show us how good you are. Send a non-returnable sample that highlights your talent. It could be a writing sample, a campaign you may have created, a media plan completed for class, a Web page or anything that you're so proud of you'd hang it on your refrigerator.
