Mark Bachmann, partner and chief client officer of Cleveland-based Marcus Thomas LLC, has been named to the 4A’s 2014-2015 Board of Directors and Board Officers, the advertising association announced following its Board of Directors meeting in New York. The officers, directors-at-large and regional representatives make up a 27-member board that represents agencies of varying sizes throughout the United States.
“It is an exciting time to be in the marketing business, and 4A's is a great companion to partner with as we navigate the changing landscape on behalf of our clients,” Bachmann said. “I look forward to contributing to our industry’s evolution.” He joins Christine Fruechte, Colle+McVoy’s chief executive officer, and Karen Seamen, Cramer-Krasselt’s president and chief executive officer, as directors for the 4A’s Central Region.
The 4A’s is the national trade association of the advertising agency business. Its membership comprises virtually all of the large, multinational agencies and hundreds of small and midsized agencies from across the country, employing approximately 65,000 people. More than 1,200 member agency offices, representing some 750 agency brands, are served by the 4A’s, offering a wide range of marketing communications services and placing 80 percent of all national advertising.
