Cleveland, OHIO (February 27, 2013) – Innovative Developments, a Cleveland-based technology startup company, has selected Marcus Thomas LLC as its advertising agency of record. The Cleveland-based agency will handle planning, creative, media, public relations and digital marketing communications for the company’s new product, Mycestro™.

Mycestro™ is a 3-D wireless mouse you wear on your finger. The product reached notoriety recently with its runaway funding success on, the crowd-funding website.

Marcus Thomas, which has also taken an equity position in the startup, advised and guided Innovative Developments in its utilization of Kickstarter for its potential as a funding source for Mycestro™ and as an accelerant for industry buzz.

In its first eight days on Kickstarter, Mycestro™ achieved its $100,000 funding goal and has generated more than 100 stories in the global technology media.

According to Kickstarter statistics, out of the $450 million pledged to 36,342 successfully funded projects presented on Kickstarter since its inception in 2009, just 427 have achieved funding in excess of $100,000. Mycestro™ joined this elite group on February 21, within eight days of joining the crowd-funding web site.
